Soon and Very Soon We Are Going to See the King
This was GREAT and it looks like they decided to reuse and buy stuff if they did very smart!
The guy's a giant!
That beer bottle bit was one of the coolest things ever ha
I'm playing Arista at my school 💜
Harlem Nocturne at 1:24:05
It’s a shame DG had to waste his talent playing this tired genre of “rock and roll”; just my opinion not right or wrong
Singer in the 1985 Marty McFly life preserver
Sorry I already posted before some time back just cant help myself
Great stuff, good band love Billy's sense of humour as well
No body giving props to that other guy on guitar on "Sleepwalk"? Devastating! What's his name? Definitely holds his own along side Danny! I love him!
Holy Jeezus, the man was fire!
Harlem Nocturne at 1:23:40
It will be so great if you name all songs from that great performance! We have any luck for that please? You or anyone! :)
i come back to this almost everyday since i found it... love these guys, love this night
Hats off to this guitar player that hung in there, with mf Danny Gatton.!!! Held yer ground against a titan. Well done dude!!!
Man, I feel bad for the singer-guitarist. He's a really fantastic player...but...being in a band with Danny Gatton? Damn lol
His playing gives me goosebumps at times.
Thanks for vid. I've never seen this one before. The hands of god RIP Danny
"" The World's Greatest Unknown Guitar Player """"
I’m playing arista in a pre professional production. These girls are all wonderful, but the one who played aquata was SOOOOOO good!!!
Why does he say noy
My daughter likes acting. She did couple shows. How can she get involved n where would it be?
Danny Gatton was just on another level. Mind-boggling.
The Washington D.C. area had a very happening music scene in the early 70's; Danny was part of that and he obviously kept going into the 80's. Thanks for this video!
Thought I’d seen all the Danny videos on UA-cam. Thanks for posting this Warren @iibw
If I would tatoo myself, I would tatoo Danny Gatton with his beautifull Tele on my arm.
Let me also express some appreciation for the band because Danny Gatton's greatness is never obvious. Solid bass and drums and a very beautiful voice!!
Incredible upload. Watching this is like traveling back in time. Danny is an absolute virtuoso. He looks so relaxed as he played. He has so many different and interesting ways of playing over a chord progression. What a special treat it is to be able watch the great Danny Gatton do his thing. He is simply amazing.
He who wapped foil for Almond wokka, needs to take wappin wessons from weeses
Fabulous. So sad he passed aged 49. Amazing talent gone. RIP
49 just a kid
Love this
Pete Kennedy is VERY GOOD... but when you are on stage with GATTON, you ARE HUMBLED!!!
Lucas Cusick as Charlie Brown and Tiare Sadarananda as Lucy Van Pelt.
When the lead is so good the bass player starts dancing.
Somewhere in Massachusetts was a young man , not as good as Danny , on the circuit ….ALMOST made it. Couldn’t control his demons . As a matter of fact, I could think of several cats around this time , none that could touch Danny , but man , they were still amazing. That’s how GREAT GATTON WAS. I was blessed to tag along with my father during this time . What an amazing experience. Danny was the best .
Gotta be intimidating to play with Danny...
The greatest
I love how most of the time Danny is looking at the drummer!
That is rock'n'roll. Unfortunately the audience too.
Holy shit
Danny was indeed a "Telemaster". A lifetime member of a very small and exclusive club. RIP, Danny. Rest assured we're still enjoying your six-string guitar-slinging skills. Whatever it was that you did @13:35 is still a mystery to me!
Can somebody tell me the name of the guy he's playing with? He ain't Danny but he is awesome in his own right!!!
This was so beautiful. My god.
We all know Danny Gatton was brilliant (saw him in 1990 in DC), but the singer is incredible, he's a freaking opera singer!
Billy Hancock RIP, after playing with Danny in Danny and the Fat Boys he had his own band Billy Hancock and the Tennessee rockets, good times ,peace
thank you from cliffworks in tokyo bandmate Tony Garnier was Danny Gatton Bass is now since 89 B Dylan
Where was The Gentry in DC?
The Humbler...............he said he wasn't as good as he was before he injured his hand cutting sheet metal many years earlier, if you can imagine that!
Not that it really matters, but I have often wondered why Chet Atkins never certified Danny Gatton as a CGP...? In my mind he was the best of the the bunch.
incredible!
She doesn't look or sound anything like Lucy, but her voice is amazing!
